Surprising hidden detail in TV star's swimsuit snap: 'Lying to us all'

A TV star has revealed Instagram doesn't always reflect reality after she shared a photo showing how she hid her baby bump while wearing a plunging swimsuit.

The 27-year-old Coronation Street actress posted a photo from a trip to Ibiza where she is seen posing on a boat front-on to the camera in a figure-hugging black swimsuit with a plunging neckline.

At the time fans flocked to the comments to praise the star for how "gorgeous" she looked however she recently revealed not everything was as it seemed.

"This was me on holiday in Ibiza," she captioned the first snap.

"But literally so was this lol," she added as she shared a photo of her standing side-on to the camera revealing her baby bump.

"Instagram is lying to us all."

Lucy hid her baby bump during her trip to Ibiza in September before announcing her pregnancy just weeks later with a series of snaps on Instagram, one of which featured her ultrasound scans.

She has since been sharing regular updates showing off her baby bump, and stunned in a white dress with a see-through sheer top with beaded detail and a long white skirt as she celebrated her baby shower.

"You look amazing," one said.

"Just gorgeous," another commented.

"You look incredible".

The star, who is entering her eighth month of pregnancy, told OK! magazine she was "quite scared".

"But I’m an hour from my mum and [partner Ryan Ledsom's] mum is only 20 minutes away so I’ll have loads of help," she said.

She added during her baby shower she was "dancing like she was in a moshpit" and continued to party until 1.30am.
