How to Make Cajun Style Garlic Parmesan Salmon
This recipe is packed with bold spices, rich garlic butter and plenty of Parmesan cheese to create a dish that’s both flavorful and easy to prepare. You can get the full recipe on Tammy's Instagram, but you'll need salmon, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Adobo seasoning, salmon seasoning, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, Italian seasoning, finely chopped garlic, powdered Parmesan cheese, fresh grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley and fresh lemon juice.
To start, preheat the oven to 350°. Using a sharp knife, cut a few slits into the fish. This helps the flavors soak into the salmon. Coat the fish in Worcestershire sauce and use a basting brush to brush it into the nooks and crannies of the salmon.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter Adobo, salmon seasoning, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay and Italian seasoning, stirring well. Stir in the chopped garlic and powdered Parmesan cheese. Next, mix in the fresh grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley and top it all off with some lemon juice.
Finally, use a basting brush to evenly coat the fish with the seasoned butter mixture, making sure it gets into the slits for maximum flavor. Place the salmon in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Once out of the oven, spritz the salmon with more fresh lemon juice for a bright, zesty finish.

Why This Recipe Works
This Cajun-style salmon is a game-changer for anyone who isn’t typically a fan of this fish. The combination of rich garlic butter, zesty lemon and bold Cajun spices creates an explosion of flavor in every bite.
The blend of Cajun, Old Bay and Italian seasonings enhances the natural richness of the salmon without overpowering it, while the melted butter infuses the fish with moisture and richness. The addition of the garlic and Parmesan adds a punch of umami flavor. A final spritz of lemon juice balances out the richness and adds a refreshing brightness.
This dish pairs perfectly with roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes or a light, crisp salad. Whether you’re a seafood lover or someone trying to get into eating more salmon, this recipe is one to try. Give it a go, and you might find yourself tearing up over its delicious flavor, too!
