Sunrise hosts lay into Harry and Meghan's Time 100 cover: 'Doesn’t look real'

The hosts of Sunrise have roasted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Time 100 most influential list cover, after rumours it looks Photoshopped.

Edwina Bartholomew, Natalie Barr, Kochie and Mark Beretta were left a little perplexed by the snap, which shows Meghan Markle looking stunning in a white shirt and pants and Prince Harry sitting behind her wearing an all black outfit.

“On the cover, Harry doesn’t look real, does he? He looks like he’s out of Madame Tussauds” Kochie said.

Nat Barr agreed that there is something off about the cover, saying: “It looks like he’s kind of hiding and they said Harry can you just peek out from behind her really good blow dry.”

Sports presenter Mark Beretta said: “Has Harry’s hair grown? It just looks more lush”.

The Sunrise hosts weren’t the only people left baffled by the shot, with many taking to Twitter to vent.

“This must be a joke,” one person wrote, with another simply writing: “Absurd”.

“Why is he hiding behind her?” another person asked.

“That photo is so awkward, is it photoshopped?” a Time reader wrote, with another person writing: “This HAS to be an editing mistake”.

Other photos of the couple released by Time show the pair walking hand-in-hand in their garden and another of them standing side-by-side against a window backdrop.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle topped the “Icons” list for their work on Archewell Foundation, with chef José Andrés writing:

“They turn compassion into boots on the ground through their Archewell Foundation. They give voice to the voiceless through media production. Hand in hand with nonprofit partners, they take risks to help communities in need—offering mental-health support to Black women and girls in the U.S., and feeding those affected by natural disasters in India and the Caribbean.”

Also listed by Time in the top 100 most influential people are Britney Spears, Billie Eilish, Kate Winslet and Lil Nas X.
