'Suits' Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty Launching New Project Without Meghan Markle
Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty
Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty are headed back to work together and ready to talk about everything related to Suits, but this time, fellow alum Meghan Markle won't be a series regular.
The former co-stars have signed on as hosts of a new SiriusXM rewatch podcast that reportedly will discuss each episode of the hit series from USA Network, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes scoop and details into the making of the show.
Adams (who played unlicensed lawyer Mike Ross) and Rafferty (legal secretary Donna Paulsen) will be joined by a slew of cast members and crew, as well as friends and fans of the original series, which ran for nine seasons from 2011 until 2019 on the NBCUniversal cable station, according to information obtained by Deadline on Tuesday, April 2.
A list of potential guests–namely the duo's former co-stars and crew members– has not yet been released.

As for why Adams, 42, and Rafferty, 51, believe now is the time to launch a podcast dedicated to the legal drama, well, the comeback the original record-breaking series made over the summer and the upcoming spinoff–Suits: LA–appears to have been quite influential.
“On the heels of the record breaking Suits resurgence, it feels like the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives,” Adams and Rafferty told the outlet. “We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the Suits fans who made it all possible."
Adam Sachs, SVP of podcast content at SiriusXM, also offered insight into the decision-making process, telling the publication that the "record-setting audience" will be impressed by the new project.
"As we continue SiriusXM’s mission to bring listeners closer to the stars they love, we are excited to team up with Patrick and Sarah to launch this new podcast dedicated to diving deep on a TV show with a passionate, record-setting audience," Sachs shared. "Through their work on the series, the beloved co-stars have developed an off-camera friendship that we know will be a treat for Suits fans, new and old. We can’t wait for you to listen."
Aside from seemingly not participating in the podcast, Markle, 42, was also noticeably absent from this year's Suits-inspired Super Bowl commercials and the mini-cast reunion at the 2024 Golden Globes.
