The Street-style Accessories Trends at Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring 2025: Small Bags, Baseball Caps, Shield Sunglasses

MILAN — What does one really need to go to the shows? Not much, judging by street-style looks seen during Milan Men’s Fashion Week.

Small bags — if any — were more than enough to carry all the essentials (phone, charger and mints at the very best) while still making a fashion statement. From pouches to micro tote bags, passing through cross-body camera bags and flashy bucket styles, this season was all about scaling down proportions to turn up the fashion quotient.

Still, the fashion pack made sure that everything that didn’t fit in the bag could actually be worn. Cue to hats and sunglasses to face the (intermittent) sunny weather — or even better, the cameras’ flashes.

If the former category has always been a popular one at men’s fashion weeks, this season it saw traditional styles like fedoras being traded for baseball caps to inject a modern spin into all kinds of looks, from tailoring to casualwear.

Trucker hats brought an early 2000s aesthetic to the streets of Milan, which was reinforced by the mushrooming of shield sunglasses. Their sleek, futuristic look was the go-to shape for the fashion pack, with the boldest renditions coming with mirrored lenses in flashy colors.
