She also shared many behind-the-scenes photos of her in character as Eleven, with the caption, "with love, el."

Noah Schnapp also shared many photos on Instagram spanning the entire run of Stranger Things, beginning in 2016 when he first debuted as Will. "Two days ago, I wrapped my final scene as Will Byers, and I’m feeling very emotional," he wrote in the caption. "As I close this chapter of my life, I can’t help but be forever grateful for the incredible people that I’ve met and valuable life/career lessons I learned through this decade journey."

The actor went on to describe how he "always felt like an outcast, unsure of where I fit in," as he grew up. "Navigating life in the spotlight while carrying this feeling, through every awkward phase and embarrassing moment exposed for the world to see, has definitely been an unusual experience," he added. "But I’ve been honored to share it with my incredible co-stars, who understand it in a way that no one else can. Stranger Things was more than a job; it was a lifelong dream."

Schnapp also shared his "top 10" lessons that his costars and showrunners taught him through the years. Check out his full tribute below:

Meanwhile Finn Wolfhard said goodbye to playing Mike by sharing three official set photos that were released earlier on Friday on his Instagram. "We just wrapped Stranger Things Season 5. I’m still in shock," he wrote in the caption. "We shot it for a year and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly."

He added that whenever he thinks of the show in the future, he'll always picture the first photo that he shared featuring the cast back in season 1. "A bunch of goofy young people making something they think is cool but really have no clue what’s to come," he said. I feel like we’re still those people and I’m lucky to still stand beside them today. I hope you’ll love this season as much as I do. See you all next year."

As previously reportedStranger Things season 5 jump ahead to the fall of 1987, more than a year after the events of season 4 that ended with Eleven, Mike, Will, Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) watching in horror as portals from the Upside Down burst open in their town, unleashing countless nightmares. Max (Sadie Sink), meanwhile, remained comatose in the hospital after being killed by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and then revived by Eleven.

Stranger Things' fifth and final season, consisting of eight new episodes, will be released sometime in 2025.
