Spoiler: First Masked Singer contestant leaks before filming starts
Filming for season three of The Masked Singer Australia will kick off next month, but fans online believe that the first contestant has already leaked.
Eagle-eyed fans have started piecing together clues and have worked out that British celebrity Charlotte Crosby will potentially be competing for the title.
The Geordie Shore star has just started her quarantine in Sydney after flying in from the UK, and claims that she is here for work reasons.
Charlotte told her fans on social media over the weekend that she was flying Down Under to work on her Nova podcast, Values And Vibrators.

“I’m currently on route to Australia and I can’t wait to finally meet my podcast team in actual person,” she shared on her Instagram story.
She also revealed that including the two week’s mandatory quarantine, she’ll be in the country for “around 6 weeks”.
A fan on Twitter first brought the gossip to the attention of TV Blackbox, saying they believe she will be starring on another Channel 10 show.
“I would put a lot of money on Charlotte Crosby appearing in Celebrity MasterChef,” they wrote online.
However, as the cooking competition has just started filming, eyes are on the UK starlet to appear on The Masked Singer instead.
Filming for the singing show begins July 3, which is just as Charlotte comes out of lockdown.
The 31-year-old wowed fans with her impressive singing voice earlier this year, sharing a clip on Instagram performing Adele’s Rolling In The Deep.
She also appeared on Australian TV in 2020 when she starred on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
Lindsay Lohan won't return to Masked Singer Australia
The casting news comes as TV Blackbox reported Lindsay Lohan will not be re-joining the judging panel on the third season of The Masked Singer.
According to the media outlet, Lindsay has blamed COVID-19 restrictions as the reason she’s not able to travel to Australia for filming.
With the most recent season having a sharp decline in viewers compared to season one, Channel Ten may be hoping for Charlotte’s star power to boost ratings.
