‘Spider-Noir’: Amy Aquino & Andrew Robinson Join Amazon’s Marvel Series

EXCLUSIVE: Amy Aquino (Bosch) and Andrew Robinson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) to round out the recurring cast of Spider-Noir, the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video live-action series based on the Marvel comic of the same name. Character details are under wraps.

From executive producers/co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot and Sony Pictures TV, Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Nicolas Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.

The series also stars Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li and Jack Huston. The guest star cast includes Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, and Andrew Caldwell.

Spider-Noir is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is set to direct, and executive produce the first two episodes. Oren Uziel (The Lost City22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel’s The PunisherShantaram) will serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.

Aquino can currently be seen as Judge Thelma Stewart in Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2. She recently completed seven seasons on the Amazon hit series Bosch, playing Lt. Grace Billets, boss and friend of homicide detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver). She was a therapist to the superheroes on Disney’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and recently appeared on Paramount+’s The Good Fight and NBC’s The Irrational. Additional credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Felicity, ER, The Practice and Everybody Loves Raymond. She is repped by Greene Talent, Authentic Talent & Literary Management, Skrzyniarz & Mallean.

Robinson is best known for his performances as the Scorpio Killer in the original Dirty Harry film, the good and evil brothers in the first Hellraiser, and the Cardassian tailor, Garak, in the Star Trek series Deep Space Nine. He has directed and acted in over 100 plays all over the country and Europe, and created the MFA Actor-training Program for the USC School of Dramatic Arts and ran it for many years. His memoir, Stepping into the Light and a novel, A Stitch in Time, have been published. He is repped by
