Spice Girls to Spice Moms! See the Beautiful Kids of the Spice Girls
From Victoria Beckham's four kids to Mel B's three daughters, see the kids of the Spice Girls
Back in 1996, the Spice Girls released "Mama," a heartfelt, upbeat song dedicated to their mothers. Nowadays, the five members of the famed group have stepped into the role of moms themselves and are now matriarchs of their own families.
Since their heyday as Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham has welcomed four kids, Melanie "Mel B" Brown has had three, while Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell both have two kids each. Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm, who has been exceptionally private about her personal life, also has one daughter.
Below, see the beautiful kids of the Spice Girls — from 25-year-old Brooklyn Beckham to 7-year-old Monty Horner.
Victoria Beckham's Kids: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper
Besides morphing into a high fashion designer, one of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham's biggest accomplishments is being mom to her four children: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19 and Harper Seven, 12. In fact, the proud mama (dad is David Beckham) never misses a chance to dote on her mini-mes, consistently posting for their birthdays, showing them off during special holidays or cheering them on whenever they embark on new endeavors.
In April 2022, the Beckhams welcomed another family member when Brooklyn married wife Nicola Peltz in a lavish ceremony held in Palm Beach, Florida.
Mel B's Daughters: Phoenix, Angel and Madison
Mel B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, is a girl mom of three. The singer welcomed her first daughter, Phoenix Chi with Jimmy Gulzar in 1999, before welcoming Angel Iris, whom she shares with Eddie Murphy, in 2007. She later welcomed Madison, now 12, with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.
And while she was in one of the most iconic girl groups of all time, it seems even Mel B has to work for some cool points with her kids. While on The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this year, the America's Got Talent judge revealed her girls don't give much caché to her being a Spice Girl.
"I don't think they care," Mel B told Hudson. "I mean I was playing my music the other day before we went to see Hamilton, and I was like, 'Hey kids, who do you think this is?' And they were like, 'I don't know, is it Lady Gaga?' I was like, 'No.'"
Emma Bunton's Kids: Beau Lee and Tate Jones
When she's not running her successful babycare line Kit & Kin or authoring a "helping hand for new parents," Baby Spice Emma Bunton is just mommy to her two kids Beau Lee, 16, and Tate Jones, 12, whom she shares with husband and long-term partner, Jade Jones.
Unlike her other bandmates, it seems as though Baby Spice's sons sort of understand the magnitude of the Spice Girls. After watching the band (sans Victoria Beckham) perform in 2019, Bunton revealed that her sons were relieved that the ladies didn't perform at a nearly empty stadium.
"(The kids) said, 'Wow, we thought we were coming to a gig with 100 people!'" Bunton told Today. "I think that was the first time they realized the hugeness of the Spice Girls."
Geri Halliwell's Kids: Bluebell Halliwell and Montague Horner
Much like Mel B, it seems Geri Halliwell has had a tough time convincing her teen daughter that she is cool.
"She thinks [the Spice Girls are] sort of vintage cool — vintage '90s are back," Halliwell told Scary Mommy last year. "Sometimes when her friends come around I go to her like, 'But I'm a cool mom! I'm a cool mom!' It's classic Mean Girls."
Halliwell, who went by Ginger Spice while in the famed group, shares 17-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi. She went on to welcome son Monty (full name Montague George Hector), now 7, with her current husband, Christian Horner, who also has a 10-year-old daughter named Olivia from a previous relationship.
Mel C's Daughter: Scarlett Starr
Unlike her fellow bandmates, Melanie Chisholm has largely kept her daughter out of the spotlight. Sporty Spice — along with then-partner Thomas Starr — welcomed baby girl Scarlett Starr on Feb. 22, 2009.
