Time to gear up and get down to Aldi at the crack of dawn because the La Prairie Aldi dupe is back as of next Wednesday at it’s set to be a frenzy.

The supermarket giant’s famous Caviar Cream is a $19 alternative to La Prairie’s $700 luxury beauty cream, and it has a reputation for turning mild-mannered shoppers into ravenous predators.

Part of the budget retailer’s weekly Special Buys, the product hits shelves on Wednesday September 18th after selling out in record time at the last restock in May.

This time around, Aldi is offering the classic Caviar Illumination Day Cream and Night Cream, as well as a seven day intensive treatment, and an anti-wrinkle serum.

The most popular items are the creams, but the intensive treatment is going for just $15, and the serum for the same, so if you’re in the mood to experiment now is the time.

The product is so popular it is currently being resold on eBay for up to three times the RRP, at $60.

The average asking price on second hand sites is sitting at around double Aldi’s price tag on average.

Back in May, the sale made headlines due to the speed at which stores were emptied of the products.

Aldi shoppers flooded social media with footage showing empty shelves just ten minutes after shops opened their doors in the morning, leading many to dub the products the ‘Caviar Craze’.

Moral of the story is to get there before the coveted creams are gone, and you find yourself another victim to the Caviar Craze.

We won’t be surprised if there is a tent or two pitched on Tuesday evening, in fact we might even be a little impressed.
