They found instant fame as the adorable British girls on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but eight years later, Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland are all grown up.

The pair, who racked up 137 million YouTube views with their rendition of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass, are now 16 and 13 respectively, and got together to celebrate Rosie’s first birthday as a teenager.

In a photo posted to Instagram, the cousins are no longer dressed in pink princess outfits, but still look just as close.

“Our bond will never be broke, our memories will never be forgotten and our funny little sayings and our own silly language will never get boring!” Rosie says of her relationship with Sophia.

“Thank you for all we have shared, love you”.

Rosie celebrated her birthday with a shopping day and a new ombre hair style, as well as by sharing a YouTube video of how she’s changed since her Ellen days.

“So it’s my 13th birthday and my mum has put this video together for me,” she says in it.

The video has already picked up 1.6 million views, meanwhile Sophia has been building a massive base on Instagram with 1.4 million followers.
