Yahoo Lifestyle Sonic’s New Spring Drink Has Fans Declaring ‘Yes Please’
Sonic fans are getting pumped for a new drink at the fast food chain, declaring that they’re “feeling this one.”
The new beverage is perfect for spring, combining berry flavors and sweet cream for a refreshing drink reminiscent of a seasonal dessert.
Popular food blogger Markie_devo shared the news on April 8 that “The crew at Sonic casted their vote for the next viral Sonic drink. Introducing the NEW Berries and Cream Drink.”
The influencer continued, describing the drink as “a fusion of blackberry and raspberry syrups, layered with real strawberries, sweet cream and a fizzy Sprite finish.”
The beverage is available now at Sonic locations, prompting fans to declare, “okay yes please.”
“I'll be getting at least one,” said another fan, as more chimed in to write that they “Had it and it was ahh.”
This isn’t the only new beverage hitting Sonic menus this spring, as the fast food chain is also debuting three other Sprite-based drinks for the season.
Per foodstagrammer Snackolator, the Twisted Flamingo features Sprite, cherry vanilla, and sweet cream, while the Sour Dragon Fruit Recharger with Red Bull “mixes Sprite, Red Bull, a tangy squeeze of lemon, sweet grape and exotic dragon fruit flavors.”
The third drink, the Dragon Fruit Sprite with Nerds, was previously called “the Paris” in honor of Paris Hilton. It features dragon fruit flavor, real lemon and lime fruits, all topped with whipped topping and Nerds candies.
