SNL Video: Kamala Harris and Donald Trump Battle It Out on Family Feud
Presidential contenders Kamala Harris and Donald Trump settled their differences in classic TV fashion on this week’s Saturday Night Live — by going head-to-head on Family Feud!
Saturday’s cold open pitted Maya Rudolph’s Harris and James Austin Johnson’s Trump against each other on the long-running game show, with Kenan Thompson playing genial host Steve Harvey. Harris rattled off all the media appearances she’s done this week, including Howard Stern (“to reach the horny cab drivers”), The View (“for the horny moms”) and the podcast Call Her Daddy so she could tell young women: “You need to go to the ballot box if you want the government out ya ballot box!”

She was joined by Andy Samberg’s Doug Emhoff, Jim Gaffigan’s Tim Walz and Dana Carvey’s Joe Biden, who greeted Steve Harvey with a “Thank you, Regis” before assuring us he’s getting his rest: “I’m asleep right now!” Trump was joined by Mikey Day’s Donald Trump Jr. and Bowen Yang’s JD Vance, sporting matching beards. (Trump’s wife Melania didn’t show up, though.) In the first showdown, Harris buzzed in first, but then rambled on about her middle-class upbringing before revealing what she keeps in her glove compartment: “A Glock, Steve. A big old Glock.” And hey, it was on the board!
Her team didn’t do great, though: Biden responded by declaring, “I’d like to buy a vowel.” Then Trump’s team had a chance to steal, but Trump rambled his way through an answer that had Steve Harvey going to the board with “Dementia!”
