"The famous 5.5 quart Le Creuset dutch oven had been on my wishlist for years, but not anymore because I found an INCREDIBLE LOOK-ALIKE that I love," she wrote in the caption to her Instagram video. The Le Creuset Dutch oven that Lora liked was $240, but she found a look-alike by Lodge that was only $50 at Walmart. She also found a 2-quart heart-shaped Dutch oven for $40. The Le Creuset version is $220.

After she showed off her cast iron haul, she shared another clever tip: You can buy individual Le Creuset replacement knobs for less than $30. Just place them on the budget-find Dutch ovens and you get the look of the Le Creuset Dutch ovens for far less. Who will know the difference?

If you already have a Le Cruset but it has a black resin knob, it's great to know about the metal knobs. Depending on which resin knob you have, it's either oven-safe to 390° or 480°, but the metal knobs are safe for temps up to 500°.

Commenters were keen to try Lora's knob switch and they also hopped into the comments to share their experiences about Lodge and some of the other copycats Lora suggested.

"I toured the Lodge factory this past spring. It is a 5th (I think) generation family business. Amazing products & people," they said.

I have the Walmart dupes and they are great. They’ve lasted me those 2 holidays per year for the last 4+ years," someone else said.

"I’ve had a Lodge Dutch oven for years! Bought it at Home Goods to see if I’d like it. It’s awesome! And it was super reasonable!" someone else added.

This is a dupe that seems to have a lot of fans, and you can't go wrong with a Le Creuset knob to make them look fancy for your next event.
