Sneak peek at Five Guys menu as cult burger chain opens first store in Australia
Cult American burger chain Five Guys will officially open the doors of its first Australian store next week on September 20, with the restaurant in Western Sydney initially set to offer take-away only.
Five Guys is a fast casual burgers and fries joint that started in America in 1986 and has since gained a huge following worldwide following.
The new Australian store will be located in Penrith, NSW, and with the end of lockdown restrictions in sight we might even be able to enjoy the in-restaurant experience by the end of the year.
If you're keen to see what all the fuss is about, we've got a sneak peek at the new Aussie menu right here.
With 15 free toppings and 10 milkshake mix-ins, your food is customisable and fresh, made to order while you wait.
Burgers
Five Guys burgers are made with only the highest quality and freshest ingredients. Hand-formed burger patties with no preservatives, no hormones, and no antibiotics. Buns are baked fresh daily with a secret recipe and warmed on a dedicated grill to get the perfect toast.
Hot Dogs
All-beef hot dogs, split and grilled lengthwise for a caramelised exterior. With the added option of melted American-style cheese, crispy smoked bacon, or both.
Fries
Fries are hand cut daily, cooked in peanut oil and made boardwalk style, firm on the outside with a creamy, mashed potato filling. Get them the traditional Five Guys way or try them with spicy Cajun seasoning.
Shakes
Five Guys shakes have a creamy, vanilla base. Customise them by adding one or more of the 10 premium mix-ins like crispy bacon, real bananas, fresh strawberries or cold-brewed coffee made daily in store.
All toppings are free for guests to customise their experience and toppings extend to nuts, refills and mix-ins. Guests can order over 100 different milkshakes.
