Christine Brown reached new heights on her honeymoon — but it wasn't an easy journey.

The Sister Wives star, 52, shared a look at her latest adventures on her honeymoon with new husband David Woolley — which included a shaky ascent to the top of the leaning Tower of Pisa.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Dec. 4, Christine shared a video of herself climbing the famed Italian landmark, and glimpses of her other adventures around Pisa. She started the video showing herself near the bottom of the tower, as she detailed what was happening, “We are walking up the tower of Pisa.”

The video then cut to show her midway through climbing, as she said, “We’re almost at the top of the leaning tower, and I don’t know what I was thinking. Like, heights are not my favorite thing in the world.”

“Okay, leaning back is worse than leaning forward,” she continued. “No, leaning— it’s better. But leaning back is not as fun!”

Despite the shaky ascent, she made it to the top as she then showed several photos, including a snap of her and Woolley smiling while posing both at the very top and the base of the tower. She also showed pictures of the nearby cathedral and the transcription and a view of the area.

“I have learned in my life.. and in Pisa, sometimes the most beautiful views come after the hardest climbs. ❤️,” she captioned the video.

Following their split, Christine got engaged to Woolley in April 2023 and wed him in October of that year. Christine and Woolley recently embarked on a European vacation for their honeymoon, with Pisa as the latest stop.

Last week, Christine documented their trip through France, which included a boat ride in the Calanques National Forest in Cassis.

"The views were absolutely stunning — truly something you have to see to believe," she wrote in the post's caption. "I'll admit, the boat ride wasn't exactly smooth sailing for me (seasickness is no joke!), but even so it was worth it to experience something so unique and breathtaking."

Christine also urged others to take a similar trip, if given the opportunity to do so. "It’s a good reminder that sometimes, stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to some pretty unforgettable memories," she concluded.

Sister Wives airs on TLC at 10 p.m. ET on Sundays.
