Simon Baker undergoes dramatic transformation: 'Unrecognisable'
Fans shared their shock at his new look on social media.
Aussie actor Simon Baker, 53, has undergone a dramatic transformation for his new role in the ABC's highly-acclaimed outback noir film Limbo.
In the film, Simon's golden locks have been shaved and he sports a beard and large glasses, making him look almost like Bryan Cranston's Breaking Bad character Walter White.
The actor plays Travis, a detective who is investigating a 20-year-old cold case murder of a local Indigenous girl in the town of Limbo.

Simon took to Instagram last month to share photos from the film, writing, "I’m immensely proud to be part of such a beautifully crafted piece of cinema. For the best experience it’s to be seen on the big screen in the way it was intended."
Fans shared their love for the star as well as their surprise over his new look in the film, with one user writing, "I love your rugged appearance in this film, different but strong."
"Congratulations! You are almost unrecognisable with that extremely short hair," another added.
"Oh wow, congratulations! You look so different, I almost didn't recognize you," a third said.
"Am I the only one who thinks Patrick Jane has turned into Walter White?" someone else said, referencing Simon's Mentalist character. "Tbh Simon Baker is a good match for every role! Kudos to you."
Many others shared that they almost didn't recognise the star, and likened him to Walter White.
Limbo will be available to stream on ABC TV and ABC iView from Sunday July 9.
