This new season centers on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) as he finally realizes his feelings for Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). For the first time, Netflix split a season of Bridgerton into two parts, with Part 1 consisting of the first four episodes.

The second half of Season 3 will pick up right where Part 1 ended, with Colin asking Penelope to marry him after their carriage ride.

A new trailer that was released earlier this week teased what the next four episodes will be about. While Colin and Pen's happy news plays a big role in the upcoming episodes, Penelope's secret that she's Lady Whistledown is seemingly the biggest storyline.

Aside from the new trailer, info on Bridgerton Season 3, Part 2 has largely been under wraps, with the cast only teasing what's to come. Nicola Coughlan revealed to the Hollywood Reporter that Part 2 features two of her favorite episodes.

Among the notable moments from Julia Quinn's novel Romancing Mister Bridgerton that are likely to be included in the last four episodes is the famous mirror scene, which has been teased in the trailer and promotional posters for Season 3.

She said, "I love episodes five and six when they’re in that giddy, giddy time, and they’re so in love because that’s the thing. Some of the best things in this show are when you see people truly in love with one another, so blissfully happy."

And now, creator and writer Shonda Rhimes is teasing more about what's in store for the Season 3 finale, and well, fans are already anxiously excited.

"We're very secretive about it, but I will say it is sexy and surprising in many ways," Shonda began.

She continued, adding, "And also, I cried at the end. I found it very moving — and I don’t always cry. So I really got into it. I think it's a beautiful story."

As soon as the clip of Shonda talking about crying over the finale hit X, formerly Twitter, fans were quick to point out how nervously excited they now are for the episode. Especially considering that Shonda has been behind so many iconic and monumental TV episodes over the years that have made everyone cry.

Okay, while it's pretty clear, whether you've read the book or not, that Colin and Penelope will end up together, Colin STILL not knowing who Lady Whistledown is yet does change things from the book. So I am so curious about what exactly is going to go down once he finds out Pen has been keeping this big secret.

And I'm hoping we might get a little tease of Sophie Beckett in the finale, as I am praying Benedict will be at the center of next season.
