The shocking 'racist' comment we didn't see on MAFS
Last night’s Married At First Sight episode was certainly not short of drama as Ines and Bronson’s marriage got off to a rocky start.
Now Bronson has revealed there was more to the nuptials than what made the final cut, and it was massive.
The 34-year-old entrepreneur says his TV wife and some of her pals were not very welcoming and polite towards his friends and family.
“I know her friends were racist towards my mate, which I didn’t find out until later on,” Bronson tells 9Honey.
“If I knew that, I would have left the wedding straight away. I know my family and friends wanted me to leave that night,” he continued, adding, “They wanted me to get on a bus and leave with them and go home”.
Channel Nine declined to comment when contacted by Yahoo Lifestyle.
Last night things got very fiery on MAFS as we met a head-strong and not-afraid-to-say-what-she-thinks Ines from Queensland.
The 28-year-old legal assistant was introduced as a “real firecracker” and a “tough nut to crack”. And it didn’t take long to understand why.
“I have really high expectations of myself and other people. I’m super straight down the line and honest,” Ines said when introducing herself.
And despite Bronson’s welcoming smile, the first thing she said to him was, “Can we get rid of that eye ring”.
Looks like there’s going to be a lot more drama with this couple.
Married at First Sight continues on Channel Nine at 7:30pm.
