Sherri Shepherd Fans Express Concern After Her Attempt at Viral 'DWTS' Move Goes Very Wrong

Sherri Shepherd's fans are hoping she's OK after the talk show host took a nasty spill live on the air earlier this week.

During the Tuesday, Nov. 12 episode of her show Sherri, Shepherd attempted to pull off a viral dance move seen on Dancing with the Stars this season, but evidently, she should have just kept it to the professionals.

The complicated lift was initially performed by pro dancer Witney Carson and her celebrity partner Danny Amendola earlier this season on DWTS. Since then, many users on TikTok—including several other pros from the show—have tried to mimic the impressive move, which involves one partner lifting the other off the floor while only holding on to her foot.

During a segment on her talk show called "TikTok Made Me Do It," Shepherd, 57, attempted at the lift with the help of Marco Glorious and Brittney Levine—but it definitely did not go according to plan.

While they attempted to pull Shepherd upright, she lost her footing and fell backward. Fortunately, a mat on the ground softened the fall, but fans still couldn't help but notice how hard she went down.

"Oh my God that looked like a hard fall. Girl are you alright ? This is not funny 😮," one user wrote under a clip of the incident shared to Instagram on Tuesday.

"Girlllllll you will need medical attention after that mishap 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾," someone else insisted.

"My heart dropped!!! The socks made it slippery for you!!!" read another comment.

Shepherd, who actually competed on DWTS in 2012, got right back up after the fall, handling the situation like a pro and even giving it one more attempt—which worked the second time around.

"Yikes 😬. That looked painful, but she's such a great sport," one fan applauded.

Someone else wrote, "😂 Now you know we too old to be falling Ms Sherri," while encouraging her to leave the TikTok challenges "to the young folks.
