Shania Twain Fans Are Celebrating 'Extra Hard' Over Momentous Career Moment

Shania Twain is already having a great year, with the singer marking the 30th anniversary of her album The Woman in Me on Feb. 7 as she celebrated with fans.

She took to Instagram to say, "Happy 30th Birthday to The Woman In Me! The album that really started it all off for me and gave me the opportunity to really express myself - my point of view, my character and of course, my songwriting skills 💎🫶 Play it loud today!"

"I really cannot believe it's been 30 years since this album came out, and the anniversary is here on the year I'm turning 60," began Twain in the accompanying video. "So, we have a lot to celebrate, right?"

She went on, "I'm telling you, what a wild ride it's been. I feel so lucky and so grateful to the fans who have been on this journey with me all this time. Thank you."

The Woman in Me was Twain's second studio album, originally released on Feb. 7, 1995. It features hit songs like "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" and "The Woman in Me (Needs the Man in You)."

Fans were hyped up about the exciting anniversary, celebrating in the comments, such as one who said, "Congrats Shania, our Queen!! So happy you’re back and singing your songs! You are a music icon!"

Many people emphasized how influential this album was on their life, with comments like, "THIS ALBUM RAISED ME," and "an album that defined my childhood 🥹🫶🏻."

One fan lucky enough to go to one of Twain's last residency shows in Las Vegas wrote, "Omg! We will celebrate 'The woman in me' extra hard at the show tonight!! See you in Vegas! Let’s go!"

Twain's final residency date was on Feb. 8. She will take a break for a few months before returning in July and August for concerts around North America.
