Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Ranbir Kapoor, Kapil Sharma Headline Netflix India’s Star-Studded 2025 Slate
Netflix has revealed its Indian content slate yet for 2025, spanning over 25 titles across films, series, and unscripted programming, featuring major Bollywood stars and marking several significant debuts.
In the romantic drama “Aap Jaisa Koi,” R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh star in what’s described as a heartwarming tale from Dharmatic Entertainment. Another romance, “Dhoom Dhaam,” follows a timid momma’s boy and a daring wild child on their wedding night, starring Yami Gautam Dhar and Pratik Gandhi, alongside Eijaz Khan and Prateik Babbar.

The slate brings Ibrahim Ali Khan (son of Saif Ali Khan) and Khushi Kapoor together in “Nadaaniyan,” a modern love story about a South Delhi diva hiring a middle-class boy as her fake boyfriend. The cast includes veterans Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, and Dia Mirza.
Saif Ali Khan headlines “Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins,” joining forces with Jaideep Ahlawat and Kunal Kapoor in a high-stakes heist thriller centered around the legendary African Red Sun diamond. Meanwhile, “Test” brings together R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine in a story where three lives converge during a historic cricket match.
In series, Aryan Khan steps behind the camera for “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” produced by parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The celebrity cameo-filled show promises to blend self-aware humor with high-stakes narrative about an outsider navigating Bollywood’s glamorous yet uncertain world.
The acclaimed “Delhi Crime” returns for a third season with Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, and Rajesh Tailang, joined by Huma Qureshi, as they investigate a human trafficking operation. “Dabba Cartel” features an ensemble including Shabana Azmi, Gajraj Rao and Jyotika in a story about women running a drug cartel through a tiffin service.
“Glory” brings together Divyenndu, Pulkit Samrat, and Suvinder Vicky in a tale of vengeance and Olympic boxing aspirations. The spy thriller “Saare Jahan Se Accha” stars Pratik Gandhi and Sunny Hinduja, set against the backdrop of 1970s India-Pakistan relations.
YRF Entertainment’s “Akka” brings together Keerty Suresh, Radhika Apte, and Tanvi Azmi in a narrative set in 1980s fictional Pernuru, where gangster queens face an unseen threat to their matriarchal rule. YRF Entertainment also delivers “Mandala Murders,” starring Vaani Kapoor and Vaibhav Raj Gupta, exploring ritualistic killings tied to a centuries-old secret society in the mysterious town of Charandaspur.
“Black Warrant,” featuring Zahan Kapoor, Anurag Thakur, and Paramvir Singh Cheema, follows an idealistic jailer confronting corruption in Tihar prison. “Khakee: The Bengal Chapter” assembles a powerful cast including Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Chitrangada Singh, following a fearless Indian Police Service officer in early 2000s Bengal.
“Kohrra” returns for a second season with Barun Sobti now joined by Mona Singh, investigating a complex murder case. “Rana Naidu” brings back Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati for Season 2, with Arjun Rampal and Kriti Kharbandha joining as Rana takes on one last job.
The romantic dramedy “The Royals” pairs Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter, supported by industry veterans Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, and Nora Fatehi, in a story about a modern CEO helping save a dysfunctional royal family. “Toaster,” starring Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, and an ensemble cast including Archana Puran Singh and Abhishek Banerjee, follows the chaos that ensues when a miser becomes fixated on a wedding gift.
Netflix’s first Telugu series “Super Subbu” stars Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar in a comedy about an unlucky man’s journey as an adult sex education teacher in a remote village.
In unscripted content, “Dining with the Kapoors” offers unprecedented access to Bollywood’s first family, featuring multiple generations including Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Saif Ali Khan. “The Roshans” documents three generations of the family, from music composer Roshan to filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, composer Rajesh Roshan and actor Hrithik Roshan, with appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
“The Great Indian Kapil Show” returns for a third season with its original team including Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh and Krushna Abhishek. Emmy-winning comedian Vir Das brings “Vir Das Fool Volume,” a global comedy special shot across Mumbai, London, New York City, and Tokyo.
The platform will also be home to the Oscar-nominated short film “Anuja,” produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Mindy Kaling, while securing exclusive rights to WWE programming in several territories including India.
