Yahoo Lifestyle Selena Gomez Wears Schiaparelli for BAFTAs 2025 Red Carpet
Selena Gomez was all about bling on the 2025 BAFTAs red carpet in London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday.
Wearing a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, the heavily embellished dress featured a black velvet Bardot neckline — and nearly out-sparkled her marquise engagement ring. Gomez topped her look off with a mix of modern and vintage jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including a $28,400 Diamond Vine Band Ring.

The singer and actress announced her engagement to musician Benny Blanco on social media in December. On Thursday, the couple announced their upcoming collaboration album, and released a single from it, called “Scared of Loving You.” Titled “I Said I Love You First,” the album is set to drop on March 21.
Gomez is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTA awards for her role in “Emilia Pérez.” Other nominees in the category include Ariana Grande for “Wicked,” Felicity Jones for “The Brutalist,” Jamie Lee Curtis for “The Last Showgirl,” Isabella Rossellini for “Conclave,” and Zoe Saldaña for “Emilia Pérez.” She will also present an award.
Last week, Gomez made an appearance at the Virtuosos Award ceremony during the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where she was recognized for her role in the Oscar-nominated musical.
There, she wore a white minidress from Magda Butrym’s resort 2025 collection. She accessorized with diamond-encrusted rings by Messika, as well as Santoni stilettos completed her all-white look.
The bridal-feeling look was similar to the one she wore on Jimmy Kimmel in January. While on the show, the host jokingly suggested she should give her “Only Murders in the Building” costars Steve Martin and Martin Short “jobs” for her wedding. “Have you thought about giving them… I assume they’ll be invited to the wedding, maybe not, a job? Maybe reader or even ring bearers would be cute,” Kimmel said. “That’s adorable,” Gomez responded.
