Yahoo Lifestyle Selena Gomez Gets Textural in Raisa Vanessa Minidress for ‘Jimmy Kimmel,’ Talks Wedding Jobs for Costars and Engagement Ring
Selena Gomez opted for a textural look upon her arrival at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday in Los Angeles. The two-time Golden Globe nominee chatted with the eponymous talk show host about her engagement to Benny Blanco, her time at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards and her film “Emilia Pérez.”
Gomez opted for a minidress courtesy of Raisa Vanessa. The “Only Murders in the Building” star’s dress featured a cream fabric base with a chainmail-style overlay. The silhouette of the dress included thin straps, a scoop neckline and a slightly cinched waist for added definition.

Gomez accentuated the dress with a pair of white-hot, pointed-toe heels with a strap around the ankle. As for her accessories, the actress opted for minimal pieces. One jewelry piece that stood out was the singer’s Marquise diamond engagement ring from fiancé Benny Blanco.
Speaking to Kimmel, the host jokingly suggested she should give her “Only Murders in the Building” costars Steve Martin and Martin Short “jobs” for her wedding. “Have you thought about giving them… I assume they’ll be invited to the wedding, maybe not, a job? Maybe reader or even ring bearers would be cute.” “That’s adorable,” Gomez responded. In a viral video, Short was seen twisting the engagement ring around her finger. “Marty did get a good look at it, he gave it more than just a little bit of a twist,” Kimmel quipped.
The Rare Beauty founder’s hair was styled with soft curls in a flowing style. Her makeup included standout elements, including bold brows, a hint of a smoky eye and a striking red lip for an added pop of color.
Gomez’s look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh, with whom the actress is working throughout her promotional and press tour for “Emilia Pérez.” While collaborating with Walsh, Gomez’s wardrobe consistently leaned into classic glamour and traditional silhouettes with pops of modernity and contemporary edge.
Prior to her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Gomez attended the 82nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. For the special occasion, the actress wore a custom Prada gown in a shade of crystal blue.
The satin gown featured an off-the-shoulder, column silhouette with apron skirt detailing paired with coordinated satin pumps. Gomez accessorized the look with glittering jewelry pieces courtesy of Tiffany & Co.
