Yahoo Lifestyle Selena Gomez Favors Romantic Details in Vera Wang Bow Dress With Edgar Ramirez, Zoe Saldana and More ‘Emilia Perez’ Cast at NY Film Festival 2024
Selena Gomez joined her “Emilia Pérez” co-stars on the red carpet on Monday for the New York Film Festival premiere of the forthcoming movie. Zoë Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, Edgar Ramirez and Adriana Paz were also in attendance.
For the NYFF 2024 premiere, Gomez opted for a custom design courtesy of Vera Wang. The “Only Murders in the Building” star’s black silk crepe cowl neck dress harkened back to old Hollywood glamour, featuring a column silhouette with halter straps.

The dress also included semi-sheer off-the-shoulder sleeves and a romantic, hand draped bow. Gomez accessorized the look with jewelry courtesy of Tiffany & Co. and wore shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti.
As for her glam, Gomez’s hair was pulled back into a tight chignon, styled by Renato Campora. Her makeup featured bold eyes and brows with a soft lip by artist Soo Park. Gomez’s look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh, who’s collaborated with Elizabeth Banks and Juno Temple.
Gomez joined her “Emilia Pérez” cast mates for a few snapshots. Among her costars, Zoë Saldaña brought a fiery red presence to the NYFF 2024 premiere, wearing a dress with a plunging neckline from Ferragamo’s resort 2025 collection and Marie Mas jewelry. She was styled by Petra Flannery.
Gomez’s “Emilia Pérez” press tour looks cater to a refined, old school glamour with a touch of modernity. For various red carpet events such as Toronto International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival, the Rare Beauty founder opted for designs by Saint Laurent and Rodarte, among other designers.
New York Film Festival 2024 began Sept. 27 and concludes on Oct. 14. Films making their NYFF debut include “Maria,” starring Angelina Jolie, “Blitz,” directed by Steve McQueen and starring Saoirse Ronan and “Emilia Pérez,” starring Selena Gomez, Zoë Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón. The first New York Film Festival was held in 1962.
