Tony-nominated sisters Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway teamed up to reimagine their iconic theme song, "The Nanny Named Fran."

She's got brains! She's got balls! And Tim Walz! She's "The Kammy."

Tony-nominated sisters and Broadway legends Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway have teamed up once more to reimagine their iconic theme song for The Nanny, "The Nanny Named Fran," as an election parody called "The Kammy," starring 2024 presidential hopeful Vice President Kamala Harris.

The song, naturally, is set to the same earworm tune as the theme to the beloved ’90s sitcom, which Ann wrote and both sang. But instead of introducing the foibles of the titular cosmetics saleswoman–turned–inadvertent nanny, Fran (played by Fran Drescher), "The Kammy" follows the tale of "that girl who just fell out of a coconut tree."

"She was workin' at the White House, what a cool VP, and then Biden stopped his campaign sayin' 'No, not me,'" it begins. "What were we to do? Where were we to go? We were out on our fanny!"

Like "The Nanny Named Fran," "The Kammy" features music and lyrics by Ann, with vocals by both Callaway sisters. It is also accompanied by hilarious animation similar to the Nanny's title sequence, which was also animated. See the two side-by-side, below.

Liz shared the video, which she called "such fun," on her Facebook page over the weekend. "In case you’ve missed it, here’s Ann’s fabulous parody of her hit TV theme 'The Nanny,'" she wrote. "It was such fun recreating my backup vocals for this. (Watch out DT!) And brava to Jessica Fishenfeld and Lissa Forehan for creating this wonderful lyric video."

In a post of her own, Ann shared, "Writing the new lyric to my theme for the beloved TV series 'The Nanny' was an act of duty, love and hope. And one of these days I will tell you all the hard work that went into it (all gratis) with my amazing sister Liz, who did the great backups, Lissa Forehan who I had asked to help me find an animator but decided to learn AI graphics and did the delightful Nanny-ish art, and then Jessica Fishenfeld, who was in rehearsal for the opening of a new opera her husband wrote, but found the time to do the captivating editing and taught us all the machinations of social media we had not yet learned!"

She also thanked "super star" Drescher for sharing it with her followers, helping the parody to reach "hundreds of thousands of fans and moving closer by the minute to a million now -wow!"

"This is the power of having a dream and banding together with smart, dedicated women to make a difference," she concluded, adding, "So… Let’s all use our gifts to support this marvelous candidate who has what it takes to lead this nation to a brighter future. Kamala Harris will be the president for all people, not just some. She will have the experience, smarts and vigor to tackle each challenge. She will work across the aisle to find the way on tough issues. And she, with Tim Walz, will do it all with hope, joy and high heels! Just remember, 'when we fight, we win!'"
