Reunited, and it feels so good!

As Entertainment Weekly first reported in October, Big Bang Theory alums Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch are set to have an onscreen reunion in Night Court on Jan. 14, and we have the exclusive first footage.

The clip, above, begins with a sweet introduction from Rauch. "Hi, I’m Melissa Rauch from NBC’s Night Court and I am honored to welcome someone to the Night Court family today — my good friend, our newest guest star, the amazingly talented Mayim Bialik," she says.

The footage then cuts to a scene from the upcoming episode, in which Bialik first appears in the eponymous court room, much to the delight of Rauch's character, Judge Abby Stone. "You’re Mayim Bialik! TV’s Blossom is in our court room," she says excitedly.

Bialik retorts, "Can we not make a big deal out of it? I put my pants on one leg at a time just like any other 5-time Emmy-nominated actress with a PhD." (As EW previously reported, Bialik is playing a heightened version of herself, who turns up in court as a defendant and makes friends with Abby. As luck would have it, Abby is a huge fan of the 1990s sitcom Blossom — which starred the real Bialik — and is excited to get to know the actor, but begins to wonder if the situation is more sinister than it seems when Abby learns that Mayim is stalking her.)

In the clip, Rauch then talks about how the longtime friends and former costars "had so much fun on set," showing sweet snaps of the two and Rauch's fellow Night Court stars posing together on set to prove her point.

A few more clips of additional footage from the episode also pop up before Rauch tells fans to be sure to not miss the reunion, which is the first between the duo since Big Bang concluded in 2019 after 12 seasons. On that beloved sitcom, Rauch played Bernadette, a microbiologist who weds Simon Helberg's Howard, and Bialik played Amy, a neuroscientist who marries Jim Parsons' Sheldon.

When EW caught up with Bialik in October, she couldn't tease too much of her Night Court episode, but did promise it would have "meta references" to Big Bang, and that she was playing "a really funny, evil version of myself — it's a lot of fun."

"That's all I can tease," Bialik said at the time. "The episode is kind of meta in the most meta way. Not fully breaking the fourth wall, but breaking the fourth wall of the mind of the audience. So it's pretty cute and I laugh a lot during rehearsal, so I'll have to get that out of my system for tape day."
