Savannah Guthrie Recalls How She 'Lost a Tooth' on “Today” Show Moms' 'Fun' Night Out (Exclusive)
Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones told PEOPLE exclusively what their moms' night out is like — and just how "fun" they can be
Mom's night out for the Today show ladies can apparently get pretty wild!
Ahead of the NBC morning show's special Mother's Day segment, airing during the May 10 episode, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones came together to talk about the special holiday and their sisterhood as working moms.
Their love for each other is evident both on and offscreen. Speaking to PEOPLE exclusively about their close bond, the ladies break down what their hangouts are like outside of work hours — and how those late-ish nights out are often filled with unforgettable moments.
"It's over by, usually, 7:50," Bush Hager, 42, says. "When you work a morning shift, going out is like 5:00 PM."
"I'm first out, but these guys were on a bender until 8:30," Kotb, 59, jokes.
Guthrie, 52, then reveals: "I lost a tooth."

The revelation stunned her colleagues, who couldn't recall the moment ever happening.
"You lost your tooth? Savannah, are you joking?" Bush Hager says. "I feel the way I did with the Polar Plunge. I feel deceived. I feel deceived by you. She tried to blame the wildness on me!"
Guthrie didn't share the specifics about how the tooth loss occurred. However, in recalling what happened to her tooth, Guthrie admits, "I don't know, it's still at the Pebble Bar," referencing the New York City hotspot located in Rockefeller Center.
"You lost it at the bar?" Bush Hager asks as Guthrie responds, "I guess."
Though Guthrie notes that Bush Hager was "not gone" when the moment occurred, Bush Hager insists: "I was gone! I was not there when you lost a tooth."
"Anyway, that's how it is," Guthrie adds of their moms' night outs.
"We like to go out early," Guthrie continues. "We don't get to do this all that often. But that's why when we do it, it's fun and it goes on longer than anyone anticipated."
Agreeing with Guthrie, Bush Hager says: "We should do it more but for example, on that evening, we decided we were going to do it the first. Thursday of every month. And we've never done it again."
"We're going to do it once a month," she adds. "Maybe once every other month."
