‘Saturday Night Live’ Host Charli XCX Cycles Through Christopher John Rogers Dress, Feathered Dilara Findikoglu and More Dynamic Looks
Charli XCX and stylist Chris Horan pulled out the looks while she was in New York City for “Saturday Night Live.” Whether it was for going to and from the studio to rehearse (one day she wore a pair of boots from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Jimmy Choo collaboration, Ksubi denim shorts and a small shoulder bag from Aupen) or to shoot promotional imagery or even for her opening monologue, the pair stacked the appearances with dynamic labels.
For the teaser that was released on Thursday, Charli opted to wear a white dress from Christopher John Rogers. The look was a tiered peplum dress featuring ruffles at the waist. The ankle-length option, which features buttons up the bodice, was previously worn by Kerry Washington to a screening of the film “Ezra” back in May.

For her opening monologue, the singer went dark. She wore a black dress from Dilara Findikoglu. The off-the-shoulder design included a feathered top. The skirt of the look laced up in the back like a corset. Corsets and corset details often show up in Dilara designs. The bottom half of the look was composed of features that were dipped in black tar, appearing slick and resin-like.
In a sketch cut for time titled “Please Don’t Destroy — Mean Cute,” Charli appeared wearing another black dress. It featured a high front and low back with long sleeves. In addition to the draped garment, she carried Khaite’s Elena bag, which featured a handle as well as large silver studs.
In addition to being the host of the episode, Charli served as the music performer. For one of her performances, she sang”360.” While performing, she carried Gucci’s Jackie bag in black leather. She paired it with a graphic t-shirt, frilly miniskirt, shades and over-the-knee boots.
