Sam Worthington To Headline Netflix’s Harlan Coben Limited Series ‘I Will Find You’
Sam Worthington (Avatar film franchise) has closed a deal to star in the Netflix limited series I Will Find You, based on Coben’s bestselling novel.
Ordered in November, the eight-episode series is the first greenlighted U.S. adaptation of a book by Corben under his exclusive deal with Netflix.

Worthington will play David Burroughs, an innocent father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son — a crime he didn’t commit, yet a tragedy he punishes himself for every day. When David receives evidence that his child may still be alive, he must break out of prison to find out the truth.
Coben co-created the series adaptation with Robert Hull (God Friended Me) who serves as showrunner. The two executive produce with Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien and John Weber.
I Will Find You joins previous Netflix adaptations of Corben novels in four languages across different countries. They include one of the streamer’s most popular series, the British Fool Me Once, as well as Stay Close, The Stranger, The Innocent, Gone for Good, Hold Tight, The Woods and the recently released Missing You.
Known for his lead role in James Cameron’s Avatar movies, Worthington also recently starred in Kevin Costner’s Horizon Parts 1 and 2. He is repped by WME, Anonymous Content and Hansen Jacobson Teller.
