It was clearly meant to be when The McClymonts singer Sam McClymont met air force pilot Ben Poxon while performing for troops in Iraq in 2007.
And they shared that love with 130 friends and family recently in a stunning wedding in Tasmania at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) near Hobart.
"Ben’s originally from Tassie and when we saw MONA it sealed the deal. It’s not a traditional wedding venue, which is what we love," says Samantha, 28.
"I walked down a long, narrow aisle as our friend, blues performer Harry Hookey, played. My sisters Brooke and Mollie were my bridesmaids, as well as two of my best friends," added the newlywed.
"She took my breath away," Ben says. "I kept looking at her and just couldn’t believe that she’d marry me."
