Sam Frost's ex Sasha Mielczarek marries his 'soulmate' in Italy

Just a few weeks after Sam Frost announced her engagement to Survivor star Jordie Hansen, her ex-boyfriend and Bachelorette winner Sasha Mielczarek has revealed that he and his partner Carly Cottam have tied the knot.

The pair, who went public with their relationship in December 2020, married in Italy earlier this month in an intimate ceremony.

The 37-year-old builder shared a photo from the event on Instagram on Wednesday featuring the pair walking hand in hand through a vineyard in Tuscany.

Sasha wore a black tuxedo and white shirt while Carly, who is the founder and CEO of boutique agency MOTIV, wore a white gown with a plunging neckline.

“Life sentence!” he captioned the snap. “On the 14th July 2022 I married my best friend and soulmate in an intimate ceremony at @belmondcastellodicasole, Tuscany.

“Carly, I couldn’t imagine a life without you and can’t wait to grow old together! The only moment that comes close to this is when I won the under 12’s Group 6 Rugby League Competition with the Camden Rams. I love you babe!”

He also shared a number of images on his Instagram Story of himself and his “beautiful wife” standing with the marriage celebrant and posing for the camera.

Sasha’s posts come shortly after his ex Sam Frost revealed that she was engaged to her boyfriend of six months, Jordie Hansen.

The pair announced the news on the first episode of their new podcast, Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip, telling listeners that he proposed in South Australia.

“Jordie and I are so excited to be doing this,” Sam said at the start of the episode.

“It’s a very important time of our lives, we just recently got engaged and to celebrate we thought, let’s hit the road, let’s go on a 14-day-road trip!”

Sam and Sasha met and fell in love on the inaugural season of The Bachelorette in 2015 and dated for 18 months before calling it quits in 2016.

At the time, Sam’s manager shared a statement saying that there was “no bitterness or scandal”.

“They have just come to the realisation that the best way forward, is to separate,” the statement said. “They wholeheartedly respect and cherish the friendship they have for one another which will continue moving forward.”

However, a year later Sam seemingly confirmed rumours that Sasha cheated on her with a suspicious comment on Instagram.

The former Home and Away actress left a suspicious reply on a Buzzfeed article titled: ‘25 Reasons People Gave For Cheating That Are, Somehow, More Disrespectful Than The Act Of Cheating’.

Sam tagged Sasha’s most recent ex Tori May and wrote: “He once said Instagram must have hacked his account, that's why he had followed and messaged all these girls.”

“Omg what,” Tori replied. “Master of lies and manipulation. The lies he told me still blow my mind.”
