Sabrina Carpenter's $30 Perfume Gets Me as Many Compliments as My $300 Bottles

I collect many things: matchbooks, sunglasses, handbags, and jewelry. But my favorite of all is my menagerie of perfumes. I enjoy mixing and matching my fragrances depending on my mood or outfit, and my scent preferences span a variety of categories, like sweet florals, bright citrus, and musk-forward blends. My latest obsession at the moment? Sweets.

While I am a massive Sabrina Carpenter fan—her Short n’ Sweet album was one of my most played in 2024—I can be a bit skeptical about celebrity perfumes. Sabrina quickly lessened my fears with her scents like Sweet Tooth (a marshmallow-forward scent) and, of course, Cherry Baby, both of which I reach for often.

While I’ve tried my fair share of overpowering fruit scents, this one isn’t. It features a pleasant combination of sweet, warm, and cozy notes and is long-lasting. Plus, it smells far more expensive than its affordable price tag, and it’s warranted so many compliments from friends. It’s even available in a $10 body spray.

It features top notes of cherry cosmo, glazed apple, and plum nectar and base notes of cashmere wood, sensual musk, patchouli, and amber. Although the cherry note is noticeable in the flirty perfume blend, it’s not overpowering. Additionally, the packaging is sleek and kitschy and looks adorable on my mirrored perfume tray. I’ve always been a fan of unique packaging, and this one is no exception.

Shoppers are also thrilled with the sweet perfume. One person said it’s the perfect size to bring on the go for scent refreshes. At the same time, another reviewer deemed it magical and mysterious and praised its sophisticated and flirty aroma. It’s also great for scent layering, per one customer who described it as a long-lasting dark, tart cherry fragrance.
