Sabrina Carpenter’s Christmas Cookies Hit All the Right Notes
Please, please, please make these.
Watch out Mariah Carey—there’s a new pop star coming for the title of Queen of Christmas, and she’s got her own Christmas cookie recipe, too. Yes, we’re talking about Sabrina Carpenter, who just wrapped up the Short n’ Sweet Tour after a chart-topping year.
This week, the pop star was back in the news after releasing her musical holiday special "Nonsense Christmas" on Netflix, so we’re thinking it’s time to bring back the mouth-watering cookie recipe she posted to social media last Christmas. And no, before you even ask—it does not contain espresso.
Now, we know these cookies aren’t the most groundbreaking recipe to ever be posted by a celeb. However, there is a reason that the TikTok video garnered nearly 10 million views last year—any cookie that’s showered with M&M’s is an instant classic.
That being said, "Please, Please, Please" consider adding a batch of Carpenter’s delicious Christmas cookies to your holiday baking list this year. (Note: the adorably fluffy sous chef is not required, but highly recommended.) We tried them in Allrecipes’ test kitchen, and here's how to make them.
How to Make Sabrina Carpenter’s Viral Christmas Cookies
By all accounts, this is a pretty classic chocolate chip or M&M cookie, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious. According to her TikTok, Sabrina’s recipe starts with melted butter and brown sugar (though we prefer a combination of white and brown sugar), combined with a hand mixer. After the sugar and butter reach a smooth consistency, she adds in the eggs.
In another bowl, the songstress combines the dry ingredients. Carpenter sifts the flour and baking soda (a total pro move), then slowly adds it to the butter-sugar mixture. Then, she adds in semi-sweet chocolate chips and red and green holiday M&M’s—which Sabrina guesstimates, so put in however many your sweet tooth desires. You can also throw in mini M&M’s if you’d like, or add some green food coloring to turn them into Grinch Cookies.
The baked cookies are soft, chewy, and irresistible. Trust us, the delicious taste of this dessert will leave "quite an impression." So pre-heat your oven, turn on Netflix, and whip up a batch of these cookies that Allrecipes Senior Producer Nicole McLaughlin calls "dang good."

Sabrina Carpenter’s Christmas Cookie Recipe
1 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4-1 cup red and green M&M's
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the butter and both sugars together until smooth and thick. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing in between, then mix in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together, then gradually add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls. Place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes, or until just browned around the edges. Let cool on the pan for 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
