When is the Great British weather forecast going to get the memo we're well into spring now – let's be real, it's almost summer – and it's time to give us some sunshine, instead of yet more rain? We may not have the answer, but we're not going to waste anymore time avoiding our summer dresses. Instead, we'll be following Sabrina Carpenter's lead.

The singer (and current Cosmopolitan UK cover star, ICYMI) took to the stage to perform during BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2024, the annual weekend festival that was this year held in Luton. Despite being greeted by grey skies, Sabrina brightened up the soggy festivities in a vivid orange tangerine mini dress. The design was summer dressing perfection and clearly inspired the weather, with a double rainbow emerging during her set.

Sabrina shared a pic of the moment, as well as plenty of outfit snaps on Instagram:

Her dress featured a halter neck with a plunging front, accentuated by ruching detail on the bust and down the centre of the bodice. Further ruching across Sabrina's hips created a belted effect, with the dress finishing in a flippy mini skirt. The design is actually a vintage dress from Roberto Cavalli's 2005 collection, which Sabrina paired with her custom Naked Wolfe embellished platform white boots.

Fans were loving her look, taking to the comments section of her post to write:

My queen in orange!🧡

Genuinely the only music person I follow. Love your outfits 🧡🧡🧡
Fanta fantaaaaa
Love this soo much💛🧡💛🧡

This isn't the first time Sabrina has worn a Roberto Cavalli look to perform. For her Coachella performance, she revealed she wore two custom looks by the designer following his death on the same day the 2024 festival kicked off.

Yep, whether on stage or off duty, Sabrina always brings it in the style stakes.
