Sabrina and Olivia Were Filmed Having a Private Chat at the 2025 Grammys

Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo were both at the 2025 Grammys, and while they wren't photographed together (despite a fan editing convincing everyone otherwise for a minute) they were filmed having a private conversation in the audience.

While we'd truly love nothing more than for a lip reader to enter the chat at this moment, the footage of Sabrina and Olivia is too blurry for analysis. But chances are they have plenty to talk about due to both dating Joshua Basset once upon a time and causing endless amounts of speculation about their supposed love triangle.

Quick reminder in case 2021 is nothing but a foggy memory: Olivia and Joshua dated during High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, broke up, and then Olivia dropped “Drivers License”—which fans were convinced was about Joshua moving on with Sabrina Carpenter.

Olivia ended up denying the song was about Sabrina, saying “I actually don’t know her [Sabrina] at all.…I think we’ve met once or twice in passing, but I’ve never had a conversation with her, so I don’t think I could write a song that was meaningful or emotional about somebody that I don’t know."

Sabrina then dropped "Skin" which everyone thought was a response to "Drivers License," but she said “‘Skin’—I can’t stress this enough—is not about one person. I’ve had so many different experiences in the last year in my personal life and in my career where there was a lot happening and I couldn’t do anything about it and I couldn’t say anything ’cause it seemed like either way people were mad at me.”
