Ryan Reynolds Gushes Over 'Hyper Obsessive, Detail Addicted' Wife Blake Lively as She Launches Haircare Brand: ‘Proud’

Ryan Reynolds is showing all the love to his multi-talented wife Blake Lively.

The actress and mom of four, 36, is on a roll, gearing up for the premiere of It Ends with Us (out Aug. 9) and celebrating the launch of her haircare line, Blake Brown, which fans can shop at Target starting Aug. 4.

Her awesomeness has not gone unseen by the actor, 47, who gushed over his wife’s newest beauty venture on his Instagram Stories on Aug. 1.

"I’m obscenely proud of this woman. She’s been working on @blakebrownbeauty for 7 years. And the result is exactly what you’d expect from a hyper-obsessive, detail addicted, uncompromising quality control genius,” he praised.

At the end, he joked, “Also, I just found out her last name is Brown” (the name of Lively’s hair brand is a tribute to her father, Ernie, whose surname was Brown until he married her mom, Elaine Lively, and took her last name).

The Gossip Girl alum chatted with PEOPLE exclusively about Blake Brown ahead of its launch on July 31. “There are a lot of great options out there, but nothing that was doing all the things that I wanted, which was clean formulas with incredible performance at a mass price point with a fragrance that I would spray on my body,” she said of what inspired her new venture.

The pair — who wed on Sept. 9, 2012, and share daughters, James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and son Olin, 1 — have supported each other through thick and thin. And their love story has included many adorable red carpet moments.

Most recently, Lively supported Reynolds at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City — and even dedicated her look to her true love, who plays Deadpool in the Marvel movie.

She repped #TeamDeadpool in a sexy red custom Versace bodysuit decked out in beaded embellishments that packed a punch. Her plus-one and bestie, supermodel Gigi Hadid, showed some love to #TeamWolverine (a.k.a. Hugh Jackman) in a yellow leather Miu Miu two-piece consisting of a tube top and pleated skirt.

Speaking with PEOPLE during the evening, Lively joked that rather than supporting Reynolds, "he's supporting" her at the premiere, but the mutual love was felt as Hollywood’s favorite couple posed for photos together.
