Royal fans lose it over Princess Charlotte's cheeky expressions

Princess Charlotte made he first ever public appearance without her brothers this week while attending the Commonwealth Games.

The seven-year-old was joined by her parents Prince William and Kate Middleton, as they watched the swimming at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Birmingham.

Also in attendance were the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children, Lady Louise and James.

But social media was abuzz as photos showed young Charlotte acting like a regular child.

Royal fans compared Charlotte to her younger brother Louis, who stole the show during the Platinum Jubilee with his own facial expressions.

Photos showed Charlotte excited, bored, tired and seemingly annoyed throughout the event.

Team England referenced her many facial expressions with a Tweet that read: "Princess Charlotte is all of us watching sport 👀 😮‍💨 👍 👏."

"Princess Charlotte is giving her brother Louis a run for his money with these expressions today 😂♥️," another user wrote.

"The highs and lows of live sport…as told by Princess Charlotte," someone else wrote alongside some of the photos.

"Absolutely lovely pictures!!! Princess Charlotte is too adorable!!!" one user added.

It comes after Princess Charlotte recently joined William for a surprise cameo in a sweet video ahead of the Women's Euro 2022 match between England and Germany.

"We both want to wish the Lionesses the best of luck tonight, you've done amazingly well in the competition and we're rooting for you all the way!" William tells the camera, before Charlotte adds, "Good luck! I hope you win. Bye!"
