Rorie Buckey pays tribute to Robert Irwin in sweet post: 'Grateful'

Robert Irwin's girlfriend, Rorie Buckey, has paid tribute to the Wildlife Warrior in a sweet post to kick off 2024.

The 19-year-old took to Instagram to share the many things that made 2023 an amazing year, saying she's "grateful" for the incredible moments.

"Grateful for all the wonderful memories created this year, the people I’ve met, for my beautiful family and friends," Rorie wrote alongside several images, many of which involved Robert. "My heart is so full of love and gratitude. Bring on 2024!"

The photos showed the incredible events and cities she and Robert visited as part of his work as well as some sweet family photos.

Robert commented on the snaps with a simple love heart emoji, while her twin sister Scarlett wrote, "Love you lots and lots 🥰 such a good year and more amazing memories to come!"

"Happy 2024 @roriebuckey... what a fabulous journey you have joined. Much love," one user commented.

"Thankful to have spent the year with you," another said.

"Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you in 2024," a third added.

"You two are so cute," someone else wrote.

Robert also shared a video, showing some of his highlights from 2023, including his trips to the US, Singapore, and Tasmania, among others.

"2023! Grateful for another year living this wonderful life with the people I love," he wrote.

Rorie was quick to comment, writing, "I love you! Cannot wait for all our adventures in 2024 ❤️."

"Wow! What a year," Robert's mum Terri added. "Can’t wait for all the adventures to come. Love you!"

"What. A. Year," his sister Bindi wrote.

"Awesome clips Robert!" one fan wrote. "You’re an inspiration to so many. And the legacy handed down from your Dad, he would be immensely proud of you."

This year will no doubt be huge for Robert, who will be joining I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as host alongside Julia Morris.
