Robert Irwin shared a sweet tribute to his girlfriend Rorie Buckey at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday night.
The wildlife conservationist, who won GQ’s Social Force of the Year award at the black tie event, told news.com.au that his partner has changed his life for the better.
“I think life is awesome for me every single second of every day,” he shared. “But you know what, when love is part of life, every single thing is so much sweeter, it’s so much nicer, and you take that time to enjoy every single moment. We are extremely happy.”
Robert and Rorie went public with their relationship in July when they attended the Sydney premiere of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.
They’ve since declared their love for one another on social media, and Rorie has immersed herself into the Irwin clan by attending various birthday celebrations and Gala events with them.
