Rob Lowe's Son John Owen Jokingly Shares Photo with John Stamos for Dad's 60th Birthday: 'Love You Forever, Pops'
John Owen Lowe's photoshop skills were on fully display when he edited a family picture to include the wrong 90s heartthrob
It’s Rob Lowe’s 60th birthday, and his son John Lowe, didn’t let the day pass without a joke.
In celebration of the actor’s milestone day, John, 29, shared an Instagram post — though Rob wasn’t to be found in the photo. Instead, actor John Stamos was pictured standing with Rob’s family. (The photo is a real, Lowe family photo with Stamos photoshopped in the place of Rob.)
“If you could all be so kind, please send some birthday love my Dad’s way… HE’S SIXTY TODAY!!!! Love you forever, pops,” wrote John.

Rob was quick to comment on the tease, writing, “To say I’m surprised would be a lie.”
John and Rob are more than just a father-son duo; they actually play one on screen. The real life relatives star alongside each other in Netflix series Unstable. Season 1 aired in 2023, and the series has been renewed for season 2.
Rob’s other son, Matthew Lowe, shared a more emotional birthday tribute on his dad’s 60th. “Happy 60th to the man the myth the legend! I can’t express how much I love you and what an amazing influence you are on me and everyone else in your life,” he wrote alongside a photo of the pair at a film premiere.
Rob shared his own birthday post with a message of thanks to those who wished him well. In it, the actor wore a 1964 t-shirt with a photo of himself in his early acting days. “Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Here’s to another 60 years. LFG, baby!!” he wrote.
