Rihanna Trades Oversize Saint Laurent Bag for Teeny-Tiny Louis Vuitton Purse — but Still Brings Big-Boss Energy

She knows how to make a statement

Whether "ludicrously capacious" or microscopic, Rihanna can pull off any statement bag.

On Monday, Nov. 11, the singer, 36, stepped out for dinner in Santa Monica, Calif., in a head-turning ensemble that featured a teeny-tiny accessory.

Though she opted for wide-leg jeans and comfy footwear, the Fenty Beauty founder still brought her signature glamour in a champagne-colored satin corset (which Vogue points out she first wore during New York Fashion Week) and long fur coat. She added oversize rectangular sunglasses and layered necklaces, her shoulder-length curls framing her face.

The star also carried a miniature Louis Vuitton purse in a denim material. The item, which features double handles but comes with a shoulder strap, retails for $2,230. The petite accessory also features gold hardware, a zip closure and natural cowhide trim.

The purse is in stark contrast with the oversize Saint Laurent Niki handbag Rihanna wore in September. While out and about in Santa Monica, the "Diamonds" singer toted the massive shearling piece as a crossbody bag, nearly obscuring her light-wash jeans. She also wore a simple white button-down top and animal print knee-high boots.

The YSLs Niki bag, which was made in Italy, includes two compartments with a large flat pocket and is made of lambskin, retails for $7,200. It also features two bronze-toned chain shoulder straps and the YSL logo to match, plus a magnetic closure.

Last month, Rihanna made another bold fashion move by wearing a leopard-print onesie to a luxurious dinner. On Wednesday, Oct. 30, the mom of two was spotted heading to Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica in the new Forever Savage Hooded Onesie from her apparel line Savage X Fenty.

Marked as "Rihanna's pick" on the brand's website, the onesie retails for $95 and boasts super-soft fleece, an oversize hood and side pockets. It comes in a selection of bold prints, including the leopard that Rihanna went for, called "Suga Beige on the Prowl."

Rihanna put her own spin on the cozy look by adding strappy silver heels, an oversize maroon handbag and a pair of sunglasses.

That same day, the singer announced the arrival of the onesies with an Instagram carousel filled with adorable photos of her and her two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 14 months, whom she shares with A$AP Rocky. The mother-son trio posed on a bed covered in animal-print sheets while wearing matching Forever Savage Onesies in a blue and yellow print.
