When Rihanna goes big, no one can reach her.

Following a trip to Barbados, the singer emerged in Los Angeles Monday night (November 11) in a maximalist fit that made us nostalgic for the early aughts. The pièce de résistance of the ensemble was a luxurious tan fur coat, the lapel of which overflowed onto Rihanna’s shoulders.

That! Said!!! The floor-length outerwear was only one of the standout pieces of the look. Under it, the “Diamonds” singer wore a silky bronze corset top that she tucked into some baggy, washed-out blue jeans worn at her hips. (Pssst: see the pics here.)

She then added a welcome cowgirl spin by cinching the jeans with a sky blue belt and an oval silver buckle featuring an engraving of what looked like a city skyline. And the Y2K cherry on top? Rihanna’s Louis Vuitton Speedy Nano in blue denim with a white monogram pattern, beige leather accents, yellow stitching, and gold hardware. (The micro bag is sold out almost everywhere, but retails for over $3,000 on retail sites.)

And because it wouldn’t be a Rihanna outfit without some bling, the Fenty Beauty founder wore a gold pendant by Marie Lichtenberg layered with a silver chain, which featured a massive cross pendant embellished with small white diamonds. She completed the look with gold earrings and some rings, plus oversized light brown shield sunglasses to go with her caramel outfit.

Rihanna wore the look for a late-night bite at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
