Yahoo Lifestyle Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Show a United Front in Coordinating Gray Suits
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky showed a united front Tuesday morning as they left a courthouse in Los Angeles following the rapper’s not guilty verdict.
The superstars were all smiles as they walked back to their car, looking totally in sync in suits and pinstripes. Rihanna went for a monochrome moment up top, opting for a light-gray pinstripe button-up, which she layered under an oversize blazer in the same color. She broke up the scheme with her high-waisted trousers in this year’s viral mocha mousse.
Rihanna accessorized her smart suit look with a white necklace, diamond stud earrings, diamond rings, black shades, and a bold, fearless red lip. Her hair was down in side-parted waves as she interlocked arms with Rocky.
The “Fashion Killa” rapper coordinated with Rihanna in a slate-gray suit with white pinstripes, that he expertly layered over a white gingham dress shirt and a metallic-white tie. He accessorized with his signature chunky gold hoop earrings.
On Tuesday, a jury found Rocky not guilty in a felony assault trial that stemmed from a November 2021 incident. The father of two had been accused by former friend A$AP Relli of firing a semi-automatic handgun at him, and Rocky was therefore facing two charges of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
The moment the verdict was announced at Los Angeles’ Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, Rocky excitedly embraced his lawyer and then jumped into Rihanna’s arms, also embracing his family members who were seated next to her in the court room.
“The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy!” Rihanna wrote on her Instagram Story moments later.
