“RHONY”'s Jessel Taank Opens Up About Plastic Surgery Following Brynn Whitfield’s Comments About Her 'New Face'

Jessel Taank is keeping it real about her cosmetic procedures.

Appearing on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea show, published Monday, Jan. 13, The Real Housewives of New York City star, 45, spoke about her botox and filler use following comments made about her face by costar Brynn Whitfield, 39.

“It just so happens that when you watch yourself on television, you notice everything,” she said.

“So I was like, ‘You know what? I’m just going to tweak a couple of things,’” Taank continued. “Also, like, who doesn’t get Botox? Who doesn’t get a little filler here and there?”

The TV personality’s comments come after Whitfield accused Taank of having "a different face" and "different teeth” for the cameras on the Jan. 7 episode of RHONY.

“I’ve gotten Botox since I was 26. It is a game changer,” Taank continued. “I’m not a gatekeeper and I’m certainly not the type of person to be doing all these procedures and not talking about it.”

She added: “So I talk about it on my social [media]. I don’t want people to ever feel like I’m doing things behind [closed doors]. I get it, we’re on television. It comes with the territory.”

Taank also opened up about her porcelain veneers from celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Victoria Veytsman.

“I did get veneers. My dentist is amazing, Dr. Victoria Veytsman. She’s the best, she does every celebrity,” she said.

Speaking about a childhood accident that caused her to need tooth reconstruction, Taank added, “There’s actually a very funny story. When I was a kid, I was running by a swimming pool on vacation and I slipped.”

“I slammed my mouth on the concrete and so I actually had to get cosmetic resurfacing or reconstruction [on my teeth] or whatever,” she said.

Meanwhile, Taank revealed on Virtual Reali-Tea that she believes her friendship with Whitfield is broken following comments made behind her back.

“There’s going to be a lot of work that has to be done to get her trust back,” she said.
