Revealed: MAFS stars Jess and Dino's secret history

Married At First Sight stars Jessika Power and Dino Hira may not have been paired together during last night’s episode, but the love hopefuls have their own shared history.

It turns out Jess and Dino have had their fair share of getting to know each other well in the past, and haven’t been shy of revealing so on social media.

Instagram posts from 2017 show the pair cosying up for a campaign for SPEQS Eyewear.

Given both Jess, 26, and Dino, 34, are from Western Australia and have established local modelling careers, it’s no surprise they’ve crossed paths in the past.

But last night the pair were matched up with completely different strangers as they commenced the controversial televised social experiment.

Jess was in for quite a shock when TV husband Mick’s best man started talking about Viagra in his speech.

Meanwhile Dino believed he had found his match in energetic though very nervous, Melissa.

However not all agree the couple will last.

Clinical Psychotherapist Claire McHalick thinks the pair’s fundamental differences in personality will spell doom for the relationship long-term.

“Melissa is a very different person to Dino. She is from mainstream Aussie culture, whereas Dino is from a culture of spirituality,” Claire tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“Dino is more open, trusting, untraumatised, and wants to allow Melissa to be different to him in whatever way that may transpire.

“My feeling is that this is not going to work out for them. Their ways of life are too different and just being nice people, which both of them seem to be, is not going to bridge that divide.”

Well, only time will tell.
