Reports Robert Irwin is taking 'serious' step with girlfriend Rorie Buckey: 'Crazy'

Rumour has it that Robert Irwin is planning on popping the question to his girlfriend, Rorie Buckey, who he's been with for around a year.

While we'll take these rumours with a grain of salt, New Idea claims the 19-year-old is so serious about his relationship with Rorie, that he might choose to propose when she visits him in Africa when he's hosting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

"Everyone is convinced he is aiming to pop the question when they're in Africa," an insider claims. "Robert is crazy about her and is planning something unforgettable when he formally proposes. They both know it is part of their plans so he's been dreaming up special ways to make it a surprise."

The source claims that Robert and Rorie are 'very serious' about their relationship and have already made big plans for their future.

"They have talked about where to live and even how big they want their family to be," the insider says.

It comes after Rorie shared a loved-up post dedicated to Robert earlier this month after the pair attended the annual Steve Irwin Gala in Brisbane.

Sharing photos of herself and Robert, as well as with her twin sister Scarlett, Rorie wrote, "Just another gala post! I’m so proud of you @robertirwinphotography."

Robert commented on the post, "Proud of YOU Rorie."

"Rorie!! You are stunning," Bindi added. "So beautiful inside and out. It was wonderful to celebrate such a special night together."
