Ree Drummond and her family recently celebrated a special occasion as they marked her husband Ladd's birthday—and her daughter, Alex, took a moment to wonder about his future as a grandfather to her child.
Drummond shared an update on her Pioneer Woman blog about Ladd's birthday, including special messages from her kids in honor of the big day.
As Alex is enjoying life as a new mother to her daughter, Sofia, she first shared a photo of Ladd holding Sofia, writing, "Sofia's Papa."
She also shared a photo of herself as a young girl with Ladd in front of a horse, predicting that it won't be long before he has Sofia riding as well, saying, "Love you, Dad! I know he'll have Sofia on a horse by age 2."

Drummond and Ladd raised their family on a ranch in Oklahoma, where they have a stable for horses and other animals. Alex's younger sister, Paige, even quit a corporate job in the past couple of years to return home and work on the ranch.
