Yahoo Lifestyle All the Red Carpet Looks From the 2024 Emmy Awards
Television’s biggest night is here again—and no, you’re not having deja vu. This will be the second Emmys ceremony of 2024, after the 2023 show was postponed to this past January (due to the combined WGA and SAG-AFTRA writers’ strikes, which halted nearly all production in Hollywood for about five months).
Now, with things back on schedule, the 76th annual ceremony is sure to be a can’t-miss event. Just based on the nominations alone, the evening will be full of tight races, due to the number of beloved programs that got recognized, from Abbott Elementary to The Crown. However, the frontrunner of the night is new FX drama Shōgun, which received a whopping 25 nominations, followed closely by The Bear, which got 23 nods, setting a record for most nominations for a comedy series in a single year.
But while we’ll be waiting to see who walks home with statues, the best part comes before the ceremony even begins: the red carpet. As per usual, the acting categories are stuffed with stylish stars, and for 2024, that includes the likes of Ayo Edebiri, Greta Lee, Quinta Brunson, and Brie Larson, just to name a few.
