Created by Alexi Hawley, The Recruit starred Noah Centineo as CIA lawyer Noah Hendricks, who by no fault of his own finds himself at the center of multiple international crises. Season 1 sent Hendricks to Russia, while Season 2 relocated him to Seoul.
Along with Centineo and Dunn, the show’s second season also starred Teo Yoo, Aarti Mann, Fivel Stewart, Kristian Bruun, Kaylah Zander, Maddie Hasson, Angel Parker and Vondie Curtis-Hall.
Following The Recruit‘s second season finale, which will now serve as its series finale, Hawley told TVLine that his main goal was for Owen to “try and grow up this season. This job at the CIA isn’t the same as college or law school. There are real consequences to his actions, and it was important for us with to really show him struggling with that. It’s not just all fun games. People get killed.”
